Devolo’s Magic series products simply plug into household electrical outlets and function together as transmitters and receivers. They utilize the existing electrical wiring, making them immune to the negative effects that walls, ceilings, and plumbing lines inflict on signal quality. 1- First, an adapter is connected to the router using an Ethernet cable; 2- Next, the adapter sends the signal onto the electrical wiring, which automatically distributes it to all other outlets in the home. The outlets become connection points for additional adapters, which communicate with each other via the electrical wiring and, in turn, provide connectivity for devices—either via LAN or Wi-Fi. Digital signals are converted into analog signals for high-frequency transmission over the electrical wiring.
