Field team management At Bureau Veritas, we are recruiting a Civil Engineer to supervise three renewable energy generation units to be constructed in central Portugal. Responsibilities: * Monitor and verify civil works execution in accordance with designs, technical specifications, and applicable standards; * Control the quality of materials and services used; * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations; * Coordinate technical inspections and audits; * Prepare progress reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action reports; * Interact with contractors, suppliers, designers, and regulatory authorities; * Participate in site meetings and support problem resolution; * Monitor schedules and propose adjustments to ensure timely project delivery; * Maintain and archive all relevant technical documentation; * Support preparation of final project reports and technical handover. Requirements: * Higher education degree in Civil Engineering; * Active professional registration (Order of Engineers); * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supervision of energy-related construction projects; * Proven experience in renewable energy projects; * Experience in supervision of energy infrastructure construction; * Proficiency in the following project types: + Solar parks + Wind farms + Photovoltaic power plants * Understanding of construction technical standards; * Knowledge of geotechnics and surveying; * Field team management; * Quality control of construction works; * Familiarity with: + AutoCAD + Project management software + 3D modeling tools * Technical English (intermediate level).
