At Bureau Veritas we are recruiting a Business Developer to work in the food sector and join our delegation located in Lisbon. Responsibilities: * Identify potential clients and lead the negotiation process for selling services; * Implement established commercial strategy, promoting various high strategic value services; * Conduct in-person or remote follow-up meetings aimed at increasing proposal award rates; * Contact and visit clients; * Meet annual KPIs and defined objectives; * Attend corporate events or client events (certificate deliveries), webinars. Requirements: * Relevant higher academic education; * Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in similar roles; * Knowledge of various client industry sectors, particularly in sustainability, food and hygiene, environment and safety; * Knowledge of various certification standards and specific requirements; * Knowledge of management system processes; * Valid driver's license; * Knowledge of certification processes and sales procedures; * Results-driven and customer-oriented; * Negotiation skills; * Excellent communication skills; * Availability for travel within the regions of Lisbon, Setúbal, Leiria and Porto.
