The Almar Beach Club is currently recruiting a First-Cook with immediate start. We seek a candidate passionate about gastronomy, technically autonomous, and capable of maintaining high-quality standards in a high-volume environment. Your Responsibilities: * Cooking and Plating: Prepare and cook dishes from our menu with strict technical rigor, ensuring outstanding flavor and impeccable presentation. * Section Management (Station): Independently and efficiently organize, manage, and ensure mise en place in your designated work area. * Leadership and Support: Guide, coordinate, and support kitchen assistants and other team members, ensuring smooth and swift service operations. * Quality and Waste Control: Ensure proper receipt, storage, preservation, and rotation of food items, minimizing waste and managing stock levels. * Food Safety: Strictly comply with and enforce food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP) at your station. Our Ideal Candidate: * Proven Experience: Demonstrable professional experience as a First-Cook in high-volume restaurant and/or hospitality projects. * Immediate Availability: Ability to commence duties immediately. * Pressure Resilience: Ability to work in an organized, clean, and agile manner, even during peak customer flow periods. * Attitude and Leadership: Proactivity, strong teamwork spirit, punctuality, and ease in resolving issues during service. * Local Residence: Preference for candidates residing in the Setúbal area or with easy commuting access (Albarquel Beach).
