COMPANY** **Viação Alvorada**, a transportation company with approximately 1,000 employees, is currently recruiting an **Automotive Mechanical Apprentice** for our depot in **Alcabideche**. The selected candidate will report to the **Maintenance Directorate**, assuming the responsibilities outlined below. **2\. RESPONSIBILITIES** Demonstrated capacity and interest in learning the **Automotive Mechanic** profession. The profession encompasses the responsibilities described below: * Detect and diagnose faults and failures in automotive engines. * Provide technical assistance to vehicles (either at company premises or on-site). * Install, reinstall after repair, engines, brakes, steering systems, or other motor vehicle components. * Install, adjust, inspect, and replace mechatronic components. * Interpret and execute the Manufacturer’s Maintenance Plan (preventive and corrective) for various vehicles. * Install electronic control instruments and systems. * Administrative tasks inherent to the role. * Drive motor vehicles whenever necessary and provided legal authorization is held. * Comply with the company’s data protection, Quality, Environment, and Safety policies, as well as all associated and currently applicable procedures. **3\. COMPETENCIES** * Capacity and willingness to learn. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proactive problem-solving attitude, dynamism, and initiative. * Sense of responsibility. * Effective time management, planning, and prioritization skills. * Ability to coordinate processes and workflow. * Minimum compulsory education level (preferred criterion). * Minimum one year of professional experience in the mechanical field (mandatory criterion). * Basic contact or knowledge in the relevant field. * Availability for rotating days off (mandatory criterion). * Availability for rotating shifts between 2:00 PM and 2:00 AM (mandatory criterion). **4\.
