Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for operating production units, managing waste, maintaining equipment, and ensuring facility cleanliness, while complying with quality and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Operate and maintain fixed equipment at the facility 2. Perform waste sorting and handling 3. Assist in maintenance and daily inspection activities **Mission** * Carry out tasks inherent to the operation of the production unit, in accordance with superior instructions and applicable regulations, to ensure productivity and efficiency of the units, while respecting established quality, environmental, and safety rules. **Responsibilities** * Perform waste sorting (manually or using equipment) * Conduct quality control on materials * Carry out waste and material handling tasks required for facility operations * Load and transport waste, scrap, and other materials related to the activity * Assist in vehicle unloading operations * Carry out baling operations on materials resulting from sorting * Operate various fixed equipment installed at the facility * Prepare all materials and reagents required for the production process * Perform daily maintenance and inspection tasks on equipment, in accordance with the maintenance and inspection plans defined for each piece of equipment * Clean facilities, roads, gutters, wastewater tanks, and other drainage networks, as well as mobile machinery and fixed equipment * Load transporter vehicles with various types of bales * Report any equipment malfunctions detected during operation to supervisors * Report equipment malfunctions identified within the unit * Ensure proper maintenance and preservation of the facility **Competencies** * 9th grade of schooling or equivalent * Category B driving license (mandatory requirement) * Heavy vehicle driving license (preferred) * Machinery operation experience (preferred) * Manual dexterity * Perseverance * Organizational skills * Determination * Good interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team
