Lead initiatives to promote the venue and collaborate on special events Job description About Us: We are excited to announce the opening of our new cocktail bar in the vibrant neighbourhood of Graca, Lisbon. Our bar will focus on craft cocktails, unique ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere with great music. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bartender / Mixologist to lead our team and create an unforgettable experience for our guests. Job Responsibilities: * Cocktail Creation: Design and innovate a diverse cocktail menu that showcases creativity and quality. Experiment with new ingredients and techniques to keep the menu fresh and exciting. * Customer Engagement: Interact with guests, providing recommendations and personalised service. Create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. * Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain stock to ensure smooth operations. Conduct regular inventory checks and manage costs effectively. * Quality Control: Ensure all drinks are prepared to standard and served with attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with health and safety regulations. * Collaboration \& Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and tastings to attract and engage customers. Lead initiatives to promote the venue by working with brands, guest bartenders \& other industry personnel. * Online content creation: Working with the creative director and the rest of the team to ensure a consistent online presence that truly reflects the identity and values of the brand. * Efficiency: Work closely with the management team to align bar operations with overall business goals and marketing strategies. Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of 3\-5 years of experience in bartending/mixology. * Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktail techniques, spirits, and mixology trends. Ability to create signature cocktails and manage a diverse drink menu. * Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and foster a positive team environment. English \& Portuguese proficiency is a must. * Problem Solving: Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast\-paced environment. * Certification: Relevant certifications in bartending and food safety are preferred.
