Diverse Responsibilities * As part of a collaborative software development team, you build and operate backend services for our B2B e‑mobility business * Working closely with product management, internal stakeholders, and external partners, you translate business needs into sustainable and well‑designed technical solutions * You design and continuously evolve the architecture of your team’s services, balancing scalability, maintainability, security, and compliance with pragmatic delivery * By staying close to the implementation when needed, you ensure that architectural decisions work well in practice and remain grounded in real\-world constraints * You guide your team in applying Domain\-Driven Design, Clean Architecture, and strong engineering practices * Clear and pragmatic documentation of architecture decisions, system landscapes, and solution designs is created by you so others can understand, review, and build upon existing solutions * Across the full software lifecycle \- from refinement to release \- you contribute with a strong focus on quality, testability, and production stability * Cloud‑native development on Azure is actively shaped by you, including Infrastructure‑as‑Code, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence * You also help drive the responsible and practical adoption of AI tools in software engineering within your team Compelling Profile * You hold a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and bring strong experience in software architecture as well as enterprise development with Java and Spring Boot * Architectural thinking comes naturally to you, combined with a hands‑on mindset that allows you to stay close to the code whenever required * Experience with Domain‑Driven Design, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and pragmatic software design enables you to build scalable and maintainable systems * Your background includes architecture documentation, system modelling, and the use of communication formats such as arc42, C4, or similar approaches * Designing distributed systems, REST APIs, event‑driven architectures, and common integration patterns is part of your professional routine * Hands‑on experience with Azure and cloud‑native systems allows you to design, deploy, and operate solutions using Infrastructure‑as‑Code; experience with AWS or GCP is welcome but not required * A strong understanding of Clean Code, Test‑Driven Development, and modern development tooling shapes your daily work, including the Spring ecosystem, NoSQL databases, Maven, Gradle, Git, and GitHub Copilot * Practical experience with AI tools in software engineering supports you in coding, documentation, testing, and developer workflows, while keeping quality, security, and compliance in mind * You communicate confidently in English; Portuguese and/or German are considered an advantage Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, you are encouraged to apply.
