**Introduction to Improv Theatre** Step into the world of improv, where every scene is unique and unscripted! These sessions are open to everyone—whether you’re a regular participant or trying improv for the first time. Your contribution helps keep these sessions open and accessible to all. We suggest a minimum donation of €5, but please give whatever you can. Preferably, transfer via MB Way. If that’s not possible, at the end you’ll see the host holding a red bag for contributions. To help everyone feel safe, comfortable, and welcome just as they are, we ask all participants to keep the following guidelines in mind: * Everyone is welcome: It doesn’t matter who you are or whether you have prior experience. We’re all here to have fun and enjoy improv! * Be kind: We all share a space to laugh and learn. Be friendly, supportive, and respectful toward the people you share the stage with. * Respect boundaries: Improv is built on the principle of “Yes, and…”, but we understand that boundaries must be honored. If you ever feel uncomfortable during a scene, feel free to say “No” or use any other clear signal. Your comfort and well-being are our top priority—and we’ll ensure the scene continues smoothly. * Physicality: If a scene requires physical movement (e.g., kneeling, standing for extended periods, etc.) and it doesn’t feel right for you, you don’t need to do it—in fact, please don’t! If you’re unsure, don’t hesitate to ask. * Physical contact and personal space: Physical contact may occur in scenes, but it must always remain within respectful and comfortable limits. Touch should be “appropriate for an office environment.” If you’re uncertain, don’t initiate physical contact. Also, never grab someone! Everyone’s personal space matters! * Clothing guidelines: If you choose to remove an item of clothing during a scene, make sure it’s your “improv clothing” (think imaginary clothes—not your actual shirt!). Always maintain respect, and remember—we’re here to support and create, not to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Wondering what to wear? We recommend something comfortable that doesn’t restrict movement. Above all: let’s have fun! Improv is about creating, discovering, and supporting each other. Enjoy the experience—and help us build a fun, welcoming environment for everyone!
