This time our theme is **Childhood Memories**. Games we played, school stories, friendships, first crushes, embarrassing moments, and things we were convinced were *very serious* at the time. We’ll talk about what childhood looked like in different countries, how school systems compare, and which memories stayed with us into adulthood. It’s a great way to share personal stories, notice cultural differences, and practice your target language through storytelling and reflection. Our languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and German. At Speak & Sip, we do things a little differently. There’s structure — but the atmosphere is still relaxed. Think of it as semi-serious, semi-casual: fun and social, but with the clear purpose of improving our language skills. Here’s how it works: • **Each language has its own table** with a host or fluent speakers to guide the group. • **Native speakers** are always welcome to join their table and support learners. • For the **first hour**, we use conversation cards on the theme to keep things flowing. You’ll switch partners regularly so you can practice with different people. • The **second hour** is dedicated to games related to the theme — light, interactive, and designed to make everyone speak more. If you want something lighter, there will also be an **English chill table** where people can sit together and talk about any topic. But if your goal is to practice languages in a structured way, this is the right meetup for you. Our aim is simple: to connect through language, to learn from each other, and to make progress while enjoying good company. **[Join us on WhatsApp](https://chat.whatsapp.com/BWIfXe0dCFN7RMPt6NG7Mk)** **Follow the community: @forvm.lisbon** ATTENTION This is a **free event**, but to support the venue we kindly ask everyone to **order at least one drink** (even just water). This helps the café/bar keep welcoming our group.
