Work in a fast-paced team environment We are looking for a kitchen assistant to support the team with basic food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining an organized and sanitary kitchen environment. . **Key Responsibilities:** * Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. * Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently. * Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients). * Store food items properly according to food safety and storage guidelines. * Receive and organize kitchen supplies and deliveries. * Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in trash and recycling areas. * Refill supplies such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning materials. * Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen. * Support kitchen staff during busy service periods as needed. **Requirements:** * Previous kitchen experience as a coperio or kitchen assistant * Previous experience in basic food preparation before service (mise en place) including washing, cutting, chopping and measuring ingredients * Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team * Physical stamina to stand for long periods * Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment * Requirement to work evenings, weekends, and holidays **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong work ethic and reliability * Attention to cleanliness, detail and organization * Time management and ability to multitask * Good communication and teamwork skills * Ability to communicate in English Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time Pay: From 950\.00€ per month Application Question(s): * Are you based in Lisbon Work Location: In person
