**Role Overview**
We are looking for an **IT Operations Engineer** to join our on\-site operations teams in **Lisbon.** You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, availability, and reliability of IT systems by providing **24/7 operational support** to our clients.
This role is performed in rotating shifts, covering continuous service operations. You will be responsible for real\-time monitoring, incident handling, and operational follow\-up, contributing directly to service continuity and operational excellence.
**What you will do**
* Monitor systems and infrastructure in real time using tools such as Zabbix, SCOM, or similar monitoring platforms;
* Detect, log, and document events and incidents with accuracy and clarity;
* Register, update, and track incidents in ticketing systems from detection through resolution and closure;
* Analyze incidents to understand root causes, required actions, and appropriate escalation paths;
* Communicate clearly in writing with technical and non\-technical teams during incident handling;
* Proactively follow up on incidents, ensuring timely updates, resolution, and handover across shifts;
* Work in rotating shifts as part of a 24/7 operations model, ensuring continuous support to clients.
**What you are like**
* Experienced with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SCOM, or equivalent platforms;
* Proficient in using ticketing and logging systems and following incident management best practices;
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a structured and detail\-oriented approach;
* Clear and effective written communicator, comfortable documenting incidents and operational actions;
* Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in shift\-based environments;
* Able to collaborate effectively within operational teams and follow defined escalation processes;
* Clear and effective communicator, with English proficiency at B2 level or above.
