We deliver end\-to\-end solutions that result in revolutionary work. ### **The opportunity:** We are seeking a **Technical Architect** to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of E\-Commerce Solution for a leading manufacturer. The role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, server\-side technologies, microservices architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud\-native solutions You will be responsible for translating the solution design into detailed technical designs using a wide range of technologies from Salesforce Commerce Cloud, through to client\-specific cloud solutions and event architecture. You'll develop relationships with key client\-side stakeholder's while also working closely with our internal delivery teams to ensure your architecture vision is realised This is not a role for someone who doesn't also love development. Whilst we have a team of engineers, you should be from a hands\-on development background yet still hold the ability to read and peer\-review the code of others. You need to be a great communicator: the role will include direct interaction with our clients, who include both technical and non\-technical colleagues. ### **What you'll get to do:** * Create complex technical solutions spanning multiple domains * Lead architectural decisions with significant organisational impact * Resolve complex technical challenges requiring specialist expertise * Drive technical debt remediation strategies * Create automated delivery pipelines across platforms * Architect scalable, secure, and high\-performance backend systems for enterprise applications * Ensure your architecture vision is realised by our delivery teams, across all phases of programme delivery * Make and justify key architectural decisions considering all relevant constraints * Follow the principles and guidance set out by the Solution Architecture team ### **What you should have:** * Expert understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud * Strong knowledge of application, integration, data, and infrastructure architecture * Advanced understanding of cloud platforms and serverless architectures * Proficiency in distributed systems design and microservices patterns * Experience with multiple technology stacks and integration patterns * Strong understanding of NFRs and performance optimisation * Expertise in CI/CD implementation and environment strategies * Ability to manage technical debt and quality assurance * Strong grasp of enterprise integration patterns and distributed transactions * Expertise in technical risk management and mitigation strategies * Proven experience of designing and delivering an eCommerce solution with Salesforce Commerce Cloud * Deep understanding of engineering practices and technical excellence * Be client and delivery focussed, able to adapt a solution to meet additional requirements and constraints and apply pragmatism when required * Prior experience running design workshops * Strong stakeholder management skills * Have excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills ### **What we can offer you:** Alongside the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting brands around the world, we'll also prioritise your career development and help you grow your skills.
