We present an opportunity for a ***Data and Statistics Systems Engineer (M/F)******,*** based in **Lisbon.** **Main areas of responsibility:** * Analysis and modeling of processes related to information management activities, concerning the operation of the National Electricity and Gas Systems, as well as their respective energy markets; * Collaboration in the development and monitoring of IT platforms; * Performance optimization, application security, and implementation of corrective measures; * Participation in the assessment and evolution of support systems, ensuring their management and integration with other organizational processes; * Development of operational analysis processes for systems, studies, and production of statistical information; * Monitoring of emerging technologies and best practices in data management and software engineering; * Representation of REN in European projects to contribute to the progressive integration of energy markets at the European level. **Professional Profile** * Pre\-Bologna Bachelor’s degree or post\-Bologna Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering \- Energy Track, or equivalent; * Knowledge of programming languages JAVA (preferred) and/or Python; * Knowledge of ORACLE databases and PL/SQL (preferred); * Knowledge and experience with Power BI (preferred); * Interest in energy markets (electricity and gas) and information technologies. **Personal Profile** * Autonomy, initiative, continuous learning, and flexibility; * Problem analysis capability and root cause identification; * Versatility aimed at developing competencies in the field of electrical power and natural gas systems; * Resilience and teamwork capability; * Good interpersonal skills.
