Focus on safety and excellent customer service If you are an EU CITIZEN, hold a valid Category D driving license, valid Code 95 and tachograph card, have some experience as a bus driver, and possess good English skills, this opportunity may be for you. This could be your new challenge in the Netherlands! ✈️ Currently, bus drivers are being recruited for several major public transport companies across the Netherlands. As a bus driver, you will play a fundamental role in ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. This position requires flexibility, as shifts vary from early morning to late night. The role offers various possibilities, including urban driving, intercity routes, and even international travel (depending on your experience). Your responsibilities may include municipal routes, school transport, or group trips for various events. It is a diverse role that enables interaction with many types of passengers. Job Responsibilities: -Safely transport passengers under all conditions; -Provide excellent customer service during journeys; -Drive conventional and/or electric buses; -Optionally, conduct digital ticket sales; -Report issues such as traffic delays or vehicle breakdowns; -Conduct basic pre-shift maintenance checks. Job Requirements (only candidates meeting all criteria will be interviewed): -English CV (mandatory to apply); -Valid EU driving license (Category D); -Valid Code 95 and tachograph card (must be obtained in your country of origin if required); -Minimum 6 months’ experience as a bus driver; -A clean criminal record certificate may be requested later in the process, depending on the client. Ideal Profile: -Customer-service oriented: friendly and helpful toward passengers; -Punctual and responsible: ensures adherence to schedules; -Safety focused: prioritizes road and passenger safety; -Flexible and adaptable: comfortable with varying shifts, weekends, and conditions; -Good communication skills: clear interaction with passengers and team members. Salary and Benefits: -Hourly wage: starting from €16.30 (varies depending on client and experience), up to €20–22/hour; -Working week: 36–40 hours (per client’s Collective Labour Agreement); -Overtime and special shifts: paid weekly; -Net salary: starting from €2,600 per month; -Vacation allowance: 8% (paid weekly). Additional Benefits: -Free accommodation: private room in a shared house; -Maximum commute distance: 45 minutes; -Travel allowance: from €0.22/km (based on the fastest route according to ANWB); -Modern uniform provided by the company; -Travel cost reimbursement: up to €200 for your first trip to the Netherlands (paid after one month of work upon submission of proof — tickets, fuel receipts, etc.). -Health insurance: €38.02 per week; -Optional car rental: €75 per week (you must own or rent a car). Recruitment/Onboarding Process: -Interview with the agency recruiter; -Job offer with specific client terms; -(For some clients) Psychological assessment — certain companies require candidates to complete this test during recruitment. This is not mandatory for all candidates. If you agree to take it, you’ll need a computer with a large screen and mouse. All candidates who complete the psychological assessment (regardless of result) and remain employed for at least one month receive a €250 bonus!
