Job Summary: We are looking for a Linux Systems Engineer to strengthen the Information Systems Infrastructure team, administering, developing, and implementing projects on systems. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in advanced Linux system administration and security **We are seeking professionals to join the Information Systems Infrastructure team of Wamos Portugal Group, part of the Iberian TRAVEL LIVE Group, as a Linux Systems Engineer** The **main responsibilities** will include: * Administration of the group's existing system infrastructure, including maintenance, upgrades, and improvements; * Analysis, design/development, and implementation of projects on new systems and security; * Interaction with partners/suppliers/service providers; We seek a candidate with a **minimum professional/technical qualification (Level 5) or bachelor's degree in Information Technologies**, **and at least 5 years of professional experience in:** * Advanced administration of Linux operating systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) * Administration of services (syslog / journaling / cron / firewal\-iptables) * Application installation and integration in Linux environments (e.g., NGINx / Apache / PHP / SAP / mySQL / PerconaDB / MongoDB / Ansible / others) * Advanced security administration / rules / policies (Endpoint Security / Hardening / Vulnerabilities / Backups / DR) * Administration of monitoring solutions (Zabbix / OpManager / others) * Scripting / automation (bash / others) * Linux integration in Microsoft environments **We give preference** to candidates possessing the following competencies: * Training/certifications related to the products mentioned above; * Technical knowledge of other authentication systems, namely RADIUS / SAML / LDAP / othersTechnical knowledge of other authentication systems, namely RADIUS / SAML / LDAP / others * English fluency; * Autonomy and proactivity; * Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills; * Good communication skills and enthusiasm for teamwork; **If you identify with this role and wish to apply, please send your CV with all relevant information regarding your background and competencies to** **\** **referencing LSENG\_0526** You can find the original job posting at: https://www.itjobs.pt/oferta/513314/linux\-systems\-engineer
