Hikma seeks to recruit a **Supervisor, People Services** (m/f) to join its **Human Resources** department on a hybrid basis.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Payroll & Benefits**
* Supervise monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and legal compliance
* Validate payroll variables (overtime hours, allowances, absences, bonuses, expense reimbursements)
* Ensure correct tax and social security classification
* Coordinate monthly and annual payroll closings
* Conduct regular internal payroll audits
* Analyze and correct deviations, inconsistencies, or non-conformities
* Prepare documentation for internal, external, or corporate audits
* Guarantee traceability and archiving of payroll documentation
**Administrative Area**
* Manage employment contracts, amendments, renewals, suspensions, and terminations
* Ensure correct application of Portuguese labor legislation
* Maintain up-to-date and compliant individual employee files
* Ensure documentation (work visas) for foreign employees
* Supervise attendance control systems
* Monitor absenteeism, holidays, leaves, and working hour regimes
* Ensure correct application of overtime and compensatory rest
**Social Security and Reporting**
* Ensure fulfillment of all declarative obligations to Social Security and the Tax Authority
* Respond to official inquiries (e.g., Single Report)
* Manage communications with ACT (Authority for Working Conditions), insurance providers, and occupational health services
* Support official inspections and information requests
* Prepare operational reports for People Operations and Payroll
* Guarantee data quality and reliability in HR systems
* Propose process improvements, automation, and best practices
* Support corporate initiatives and cross-functional People Operations projects
* Support IT system updates to comply with legal changes
**Team Supervision**
* Supervise and support the People Operations/Payroll team
* Ensure technical training, mentoring, and professional development
* Promote best practices, rigor, and focus on employee service
#### **Mandatory Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or related field
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll and personnel administration
* Experience in payroll audits
* Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor and social security legislation
* Excellent proficiency in Excel and HR/Payroll systems
* Professional-level English, both written and spoken
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
* Ability to work under demanding deadlines
* High level of confidentiality and professional ethics
#### **Preferred Requirements**
* Additional training in Labor Law
* Training in Payroll and Administrative HR Management
* Experience in an industrial or multinational environment
* Experience supervising teams
