Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 manufacturing plants producing injectable medicines. Hikma is seeking a **Trainee** (m/f) to join its **Health \& Safety** department in an on-site capacity. We also value responsibility, enthusiasm for challenges, empathy, and transparency. **Responsibilities** * Support the implementation and monitoring of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies; * Collaborate in waste management and control, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental legislation; * Support risk assessments and conduct safety inspections; * Participate in organizing training sessions and internal awareness campaigns; * Assist in physical security management of facilities (access control, emergency plans, signage, etc.); * Support the preparation and updating of legal documentation and internal EHS reports; * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's environmental and safety processes. **Ideal Candidate Profile** * Higher education degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Management, or similar field; * Eligible for IEFP professional internship; * Interest in Occupational Safety, Sustainability, and Environment; * Knowledge of environmental and OHS legislation (an advantage); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and team spirit; * Proactivity and willingness to learn. **What We Offer** * IEFP professional internship (6 months) * Integration into a dynamic and sustainability-focused company; * Technical and training support throughout the internship; * Opportunity to develop practical EHS skills; If this opportunity appeals to you as the start of your professional career, join our team and help us deliver *better health within everyone’s reach, every day.* Location: Sintra, Sintra, PT
