Summary: YellowIpe is seeking a Mid Cloud Engineer to drive cloud cost reduction, optimize data services, and enhance operational efficiency through automation and collaboration. Highlights: 1. The Focus on People, Collaboration and Commitment are the pillars that guide us in this trajectory. **Join the yellow team as our new Mid Cloud Engineer!** **Requirements:** * Minimum of 2\+ years of experience in a Mid Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering role, with a strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure and operations; * Proven, hands\-on experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure across multiple major cloud providers, specifically AWS, Azure, and GCP; * Extensive experience configuring, managing, and optimizing large\-scale Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters in a production setting; * Strong proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources; * Solid practical experience with container technologies like Docker and expertise in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters. **Responsibilities:** * Drive Cloud Cost Reduction: Lead and execute initiatives to reduce cloud expenditure by optimizing storage volumes (e.g., categorizing EBS), evaluating new resource types (e.g., Azure Premium SSD V2\), and identifying scaling opportunities; * Manage \& Optimize Data Services: Configure, monitor, and enhance Cassandra and Elasticsearch clusters. This includes migrations, downscaling, and applying performance and cost\-efficiency improvements; * Design \& Implement Multi\-Cloud Infrastructure: Build, test, and deploy resilient infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Terraform; * Enhance Operational Efficiency: Automate key processes, such as Kubernetes Virtual Node Group (VNG) creation and network routing to reduce overhead and transfer costs; * Collaborate \& Lead: Work closely with cross\-functional teams to plan and safely roll out changes in production environments. Provide technical leadership while executing complex tasks independently. Foster a culture of high\-quality engineering, participate in architectural discussions and promote best practices.
