Location: Sines, PT Functional Family: Sustainability \& Processes M/F Casais Construction is looking for a Quality Specialist to strengthen the team in the Sines area. **Family Mission** --------------------- Responsible for developing continuous improvement projects in production and management processes and eliminating legal exposure related to environmental and sustainability matters, delivering results that satisfy stakeholders, transforming ideas and stakeholder needs into practical actions, focusing on business operations, applying current technical standards and legislation, with socio-environmental responsibility and technological advancement, acting in accordance with the Group's ethics and Casais values. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- 1\) Ensure on-site monitoring, guaranteeing compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements in construction management processes, as well as document control; 2\) Support inspection activities to ensure quality of executed works together with Site Supervisors and Subcontractors, ensuring acceptance criteria for activities and compliance with applicable standards and legal regulations. 3\) Provide support to Site Management in preparing (a) materials and equipment reports (BAMEs), clarification requests (BPEs), and (b) monthly reports; 4\) Monitor construction site(s) to develop and/or update work execution methods and procedures; 5\) Represent the company on quality matters during inspections, with clients and regulatory bodies. 6\) Control daily operations including audits, meetings, training, and updating documents and records for all aspects of the Quality Management System/ISO 9001; 7\) Evaluate and analyze quality issues in production and implement corrective and preventive actions; 8\) Monitor and ensure compliance with legislation and maintain the Quality Management System; 9\) Develop continuous improvement processes to promote enhancement of processes and procedures; 10\) Manage compliance and assist in maintaining the management system certification; 11\) Monitor all legal requirements of the Quality Management System; 12\) Conduct studies related to the quality area to ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures. **Requirements** -------------- * Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years * Languages: English \- intermediate; * French \- intermediate; * Portuguese \- intermediate. **Education** ------------ * Level 7 \- Higher education (Master's degree) * Civil Engineering **Mandatory Certifications / Licenses** ----------------------------------------- i) Pedagogical Competence Certificate for Trainers; ii) Specific Training in Quality Management Systems/ISO 9001 and Specific Training in Quality Management Systems/ISO 14001; iii) Registered with the Order of Engineers (optional); **At Casais Group we ensure our team members have:** * Employee Assistance Programs; * Collaboration with flexible and dynamic teams that encourage your learning / knowledge development; * Vision for the Future: growth, progression, industrialization, sustainability; * Annual activities promoting engagement among colleagues / companies / markets; * Benefits and Agreements; * Safety Culture.
