The goal is for the music to become the guide not the main objective.\n\n**TIME**: For the shy - it's important to come on time. If you're feeling comfortable in your body and dancing, you're welcome to be a bit late but you'll miss the fun part, really.\n\n**PHILOSOPHY**: Dance is one of the rare things in life we do without having a clear end goal, no criteria of success or destination, and in order to dance for hours we need to have direct connection with our intuition/body. The energy distribution needs to energize and NOT drain. If we dance with an intention to achieve something, it will be draining and impossible to, eventually, enjoy the process. Our intention is about letting go, surrendering to the sounds, surroundings and finding pleasure within the body and the moment even with sometimes frustrating sounds, or sounds we didn't expect, don't recognize and/or just don't like. Full surrender to the circumstances. It's also important to know when to come into stillness. This is the skill of dancing with pleasure. This pleasure and aliveness are expressions of the soul - that inner quality that makes each of us uniquely who we are and fills us with life and energy. Dancing, especially in community, is one way we repair culture and bring wholeness, health and resilience to our lives and to our communities.\n\n**COST**: Why a fee? Over the past year the rental cost of the space has been generously covered by a private donation that is no longer available.\nWe want to keep dancing with you!\n\nWe encourage you to pay as is possible for you:\n15 euros - Supporter\n10 euros - Regular\n5 euros - Reduced\n\nThis is a **sober** event. Feel free to bring some snacks or non-alco drinks to share. We will have water and tea.\n\nOur dancefloor is an **inclusive** space that welcomes and celebrates people of all ages, abilities, gender identities, relationships, backgrounds, and beliefs.
