You will work alongside experienced software engineers, data scientists, and quants to build high\-throughput systems and data\-driven applications that power our pricing models, trading systems, and analytics tools. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your software engineering skills in a fast\-paced, technical environment—while also gaining hands\-on experience with modern data technologies, real\-time systems, and cloud infrastructure. **What You’ll Be Doing:** * Assist in the development of high\-performance backend applications using C\# and .NET Core * Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines and services * Learn and apply best practices in multi\-threaded, concurrent, and event\-driven programming * Support the delivery of data\-driven applications, including APIs, streaming platforms, and ETL processes * Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions * Write clean, testable code and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD pipelines * Help monitor and troubleshoot production systems as part of a collaborative team **What You’ll Bring:** Software Development Foundations: * Some experience writing software in C\# or another modern programming language * Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field * Understanding of object\-oriented programming and software design principles * A keen interest in learning about performance optimisation and concurrent programming * Familiarity with Linux environments and command\-line tools is a plus Interest in Data Engineering: * Solid SQL fundamentals and curiosity about how data is modelled and transformed * Exposure to Python (or willingness to learn it) for scripting, analytics, or data processing * Interest in building data pipelines or APIs that deliver real\-time insights * Eagerness to learn about streaming platforms like Kafka and cloud platforms like AWS Team \& Growth Mindset: * Strong problem\-solving skills and a desire to take ownership of your learning * Effective communicator who works well in a team environment * Interest in working in Agile teams and contributing to real\-world software delivery Nice to Have: * Internship or project experience involving backend development, data engineering, or cloud technologies * Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions * Experience with version control (e.g., Git) * Knowledge of the online gaming or sports industry You’ll be supported by a team of experienced engineers and given real responsibility from the start, along with opportunities to grow into more advanced technical roles.
