Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support and oversee the planning and management of equipment, as well as provide technical support for maintenance and inspection of construction equipment. Opportunity for personal, professional, and curricular development Somafel is a company within the Teixeira Duarte Group, specializing in railway track and overhead catenary system construction, as well as maintenance, renewal, and electrification of existing lines. It also actively participates in special engineering projects, notably crane rail systems and concrete track beds. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (m/f) to join the Equipment Department at our official infrastructure site located in Oliveirinha (Carregal do Sal). Job Description: * Support and oversight of equipment planning and management activities; * Support for planning, management, and allocation of construction equipment; * Technical support for maintenance and inspection of construction equipment; * Provision of technical support across various project execution phases, collaborating with diverse multidisciplinary teams. Technical Profile: * Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; * Registration with the Order of Engineers (preferred); * Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience; * English language proficiency (preferred); * Proficiency in computer applications (AutoCAD, Revit, MS\-Excel, MS\-Word, and Candy \- CCS); * Valid driver’s license; * Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
