About the Role We are seeking a Java Developer (Mid/Senior) with proven experience in legacy applications based on JSF (JavaServer Faces). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, evolving, and optimizing existing enterprise applications, ensuring their stability, security, and performance, as well as supporting technological modernization initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in traditional Java environments who value code quality and solution sustainability. Requirements: * Minimum 4 years of Java development experience. * Proficiency in JSF (JavaServer Faces), JSP/Servlets, and Managed Beans. * Demonstrated experience maintaining and optimizing legacy enterprise applications. * Proficiency in Java 7/8, with knowledge of migration to newer versions and modern frameworks. * Experience with application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic). * Solid knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL), including query tuning and SQL script management. * Strong knowledge of EJB, JPA/Hibernate, and application configuration management. * Familiarity with Maven, Git, and integration/deployment processes. * Experience with REST/SOAP integrations. * Deep understanding of the MVC pattern and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. * Commitment to best development practices, documentation, and collaborative work. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in refactoring and modernizing applications (migration to Spring Boot, Angular, or REST-based architectures). * Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, PrimeFaces, or legacy libraries). * Familiarity with CI/CD and testing frameworks (JUnit, Jenkins). * Strong communication, collaboration, and results-oriented mindset.
