This role is a key part of the function that delivers and maintains the technology enabling our colleagues, partners, and customers every day. Our business is fast\-moving, and we operate with rapidly evolving targets and priorities. Key Responsibilities* Design, implement, maintain and enhance data integrations in Databricks * Merge and cleanse data to provide a reliable and curated data layer. * Engage effectively and proactively with multiple stakeholders and Product Owners to understand requirements and set priorities. * Assess and implement suitable data solutions to meet business needs. * Manage costs, capacity, and efficiency of the decision support system, including forecasting. * Maintain a comprehensive documentation suite for our data engineering implementations, and provide training where necessary to support team members and stakeholders to self\-serve their own usage of the data and MI/Reporting. Key Requirements Essential* Strong analytical skills with a focus on data. * A code\-first approach. * Understanding of continuous integration/continuous development principles. * Experience with data engineering principles (data ingestion, data transformation, etc.) * Familiarity with team collaboration, both in person and in code. * Good communication skills. * A Computer Science degree or data related qualification would be advantageous. Technical Skills* Proficiency in TSQL, Python, and PowerShell. * Experience with Git, Databricks, and PowerBI. *Work with amazing people and be part of a unique culture*
