Then this opportunity is for you!** We are currently recruiting for the Procurement area: **Procurement Technician (m/f/d)** **Lisbon or Porto** **We want to discover in the market the solutions that best meet our needs and the suppliers who align with Ageas Values: Care, Dare, Deliver and !** **If you enjoy comparing, analyzing, negotiating, and have a keen eye for identifying value (not necessarily the cheapest!), this mission could be yours!** You will work closely with different departments, acting as a true strategic link and ensuring that every purchase is a smart investment! Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Identify and qualify new suppliers of goods and services; * Lead working meetings with multidisciplinary teams to define specifications for procurement of goods and services; * Prepare terms of reference, SLAs, and other requirements; * Launch, manage, and complete tender processes (RFXs) within your category of responsibility; * Conduct negotiation processes to improve contractual conditions with suppliers; * Critically assess and validate purchase requests (PRs), challenging the requester when appropriate; * Monitor contract execution, report deviations, and propose corrective actions; * Ensure compliance with current procedures and alignment with internal customers; * Record and monitor cost-saving initiatives; * Collaborate with the Group Procurement on strategic projects. **We are looking for committed individuals with initiative and proactivity, who demonstrate teamwork skills and are open to accepting a new challenge:** * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * Active contribution to a healthy team spirit and a positive work environment; * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; * Strong problem-solving and negotiation orientation; * Ability to identify cost reduction opportunities (beyond price or supplier negotiation); * Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment; * Proficiency in **Office** tools, with special focus on **Excel**; * Good knowledge of English; * Experience with **SAP Ariba** (preferred); * Availability for occasional travel within the national territory; * **Fixed-term contract** **How to apply:** Are you the person we're looking for?
