**Who are we looking for?** COBOL Developer
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Perform Technical Analysis, new development, or impact analysis on existing software, based on Functional Specifications;
* Prepare unit and system test documents.
* Execute unit and system tests related to projects managed by the team or in which the team participates;
* Prepare technical and other documentation according to the company's current methodologies;
* Develop software in accordance with the company's programming rules and development framework, based on previously prepared Technical Analysis documents;
* Analyze and resolve incidents, including accounting discrepancies and bug fixes;
* Monitor batch processes, including support for the overnight production batch, scheduled on a rotating basis.
**Mandatory Technical Skills and Knowledge:**
* Strong knowledge of COBOL, DB2, CICS, and JCL;
* Technical competence and at least 10 years of experience in programming/analysis;
* **Specific functional knowledge in the Credit domain —** preferably in subsidized amortizing credit (mortgages), Discounting (Bills of Exchange), Received Guarantees, and Credit Recovery;
* Knowledge of accounting principles applied to credit applications.
**Desirable Technical Skills and Knowledge:**
* Familiarity with Control-M, EDz (development framework), ALM Quality Center, and BMC Remedy;
* Knowledge of Agile, CMMI, and LEAN IT methodologies and tools.
**Location:** Lisbon
**Work Arrangement:** Hybrid (2 days per week in the office).
