**Location:** Lisbon (Hybrid model \- 1 mandatory in-office day)

**Senior Fullstack (Java/Angular)** is responsible for designing, developing, and operating scalable backend services and modern applications in a cloud-native environment. This role combines strong Java engineering skills with solid frontend capabilities and hands-on DevOps experience. The engineer contributes to building resilient microservices, reliable APIs, and end-to-end delivery pipelines on AWS and Kubernetes.
**Responsibilities:**
* Design and implement modern, scalable frontend applications using Angular.
* Develop and maintain backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
* Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated deployments.
* Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
* Ensure application quality through automated testing and code quality tools.
* Monitor system performance and reliability using Grafana, ELK stack, and related tools.
* Collaborate closely with product, UX, and platform teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
* Contribute to DevOps best practices, observability, and operational excellence.
* Support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
**Personal Skills and Education**
**What You Bring:**
* Experience in public transport systems (especially passenger information, ticketing, or planning applications).
* Experience in logistics or fleet management solutions.
* Familiarity with the Swiss public transport ecosystem is a plus.
* Strong hands-on experience in Java development (Java 21 Temurin).
* Solid experience with Spring Boot and Maven.
* Proven experience with Angular (preferably Angular 20\).
* Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Knowledge of reactive UI patterns and multithreading concepts (e.g., Web Workers).
* Practical experience with Docker and/or Podman.
* Experience with Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS).
* Experience with ArgoCD and kubectl.
* Strong DevOps capabilities on AWS.
* Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
* CI/CD pipeline management using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
**Education:**
* Bachelor's/Master's degree or technical qualification in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
**Language Skills:**
* English (spoken and written).
* Optional: German (spoken and written).
