Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets ### **Job Information** Date Opened 10/19/2021 Job Type Full time Industry Technology City Lisboa State/Province Lisboa Country Portugal Zip/Postal Code 1200\-642 ### **Job Description** * This is a remote position; * Developing recommendation engines for a modern social collaboration platform owned by one of the biggest companies in Europe from scratch; * Clear communication to stakeholders and team members about project status; * Working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions; * Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development; * Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques; * Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets; * Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences; * Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes; * Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy. ### **Requirements** * Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development; * Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets; * Experience working with and creating data architectures; * Good communication skills; * A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques; * Capacity to work and deliver on a deadline; * Fluent written and spoken English.
