Techno-Economic Analyst
HyLab’s final goal is to create a worldwide reference Research, Development and Innovation (R\&D\+I) cluster with a strategic agenda focused on strengthening hydrogen competitiveness and creation of new products and services. Moreover, the HyLab will foster innovation, addressing the relevant supply chain components to enable a hydrogen\-driven economy and to promote skilled and value\-added job creation. It targets a gap between the academia and industrial ecosystems in the implementation of green hydrogen to boost the energy transition and to tackle the energy transition challenges, through the entire hydrogen value chain. The HyLab involves valuable national and international R\&D institutes, academia, industry companies, small and medium\-sized enterprises (SMEs), start\-ups, and hydrogen\-related technology manufacturing industries. We are looking for a **Techno\-Economic Analyst for the development of industrial processes and associated infrastructure** who will report to the Lead Research on the Sustainable Hydrogen Economy and will have the mission to elaborate the **Techno\-Economic Analyst** of selected segments of the Portuguese Green Hydrogen industrial infrastructure along its Life Cycle. The analysis can embrace hydrogen production, transport, compression and storage, and selected scenarios of Hydrogen End\-Use. The work will include technical analysis and simulation of the processes involved, assessment of CAPEX and OPEX, profitability analysis and cost\-benefit analysis under different specific scenarios of the Portuguese green hydrogen value chain. You will be challenged with: * Participating in R\&D projects related to green hydrogen production, transport, compression and storage, and selected hydrogen end\-use scenarios to collect data and process input parameters for the development of techno\-economic analysis. * Building a database of the expected costs associated with the development of an industrial green hydrogen infrastructure over its life cycle.
