**CATEGORY MANAGER / LOGISTICS** **Location:** Figueira da Foz or Setúbal **Contract Type:** Permanent **Company:** The Navigator Company **The Navigator Company** is seeking to hire a **Category Manager / Logistics** for the **Logistics Directorate**, whose main mission will be to ensure, through supplier negotiation and contracting processes, the development of a competitive distribution network by implementing an effective and efficient transportation procurement strategy. **Main Responsibilities** * Support market inquiries (i.e. RFI / RFQ) and supplier evaluations; * Analyze and validate resolution of complaints related to order distribution (i.e. transportation); * Analyze and validate supporting documents, ensuring accurate cost allocation (i.e. transportation); * Conduct assessments to evaluate suppliers and manage logistics databases; * Develop transportation chain optimization projects. **What We Value** Qualifications * Higher education, preferably in Logistics, Engineering, Management, Economics or similar fields. Experience and Knowledge * Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Logistics or Procurement; * Knowledge of transportation operations, logistics contract management and distribution management will be an advantage; * Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); * English language proficiency.
