Love Pet Alliance is a Portuguese company specializing in the development and distribution of its own brands of pet food, hygiene products, and accessories. Our portfolio includes leading brands such as Weego and Dashi. From our facilities in Vila Nova de Gaia, we serve over 2,000 professional clients across various European markets and the Middle East.
To support the continuous growth of our operations, we are seeking a responsible, organized, and proactive Logistics Operator to reinforce our warehouse team.
Job Mission
Reporting to the Logistics Team and operating from our warehouse in Madalena (V.N. Gaia), this professional will be responsible for executing daily tasks related to receiving, handling, organizing, and shipping goods, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with the company’s quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
Loading, unloading, and handling goods within the warehouse (including bags and boxes weighing up to 15 kg);
Order preparation (picking and packing) and repetitive tasks inherent to daily operations;
Organization, arrangement, and physical space management of the warehouse;
Operation of material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Truck);
Operational support during peak workflow periods and goods dispatch.
Mandatory Requirements
Residence: Porto Region / Vila Nova de Gaia;
Physical Capacity and Dexterity: Must be able and available to manually handle loads (15 kg bags) and perform physically repetitive work;
Work Schedule Flexibility: Full and mandatory availability for overtime during periods of high workload (eliminatory criterion);
Profile: Strong sense of commitment, punctuality, and attendance.
Preferred and Valued Qualifications
Valid driver’s license;
Proven experience operating and handling a Reach Truck;
Previous experience in similar roles within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Offered Conditions
Contract Type: Fixed-term employment contract for 6 months, renewable;
Base Salary: €920 – €950
Work Mode: Full-time (100% on-site at the Madalena warehouse — Vila Nova de Gaia);
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:50 to 18:10 (includes 1-hour lunch break + 20-minute rest);
