Opportunity for professional growth and development MDS Group is currently recruiting for the position of **Claims Manager**, based in Lisbon or Porto, within the Corporate Risk Management Directorate. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive, analyze, and process non-motor insurance claims (e.g., Multi-Risk, Civil Liability, Personal Accident, Travel, Cyber, D\&O, among others); * Assess policy coverage, limits, and exclusions by interpreting contractual conditions, applicable legislation, and case law; * Proactively contact clients, experts, service providers, and insurers, ensuring clear, agile, and transparent communication; * Ensure strict adherence to operational and regulatory deadlines, maintaining complete and auditable records; * Collaborate on continuous improvement of claims processes, contributing to operational efficiency, automation, and simplification; * Draft technical rebuttals and supporting justifications to address complaints or litigation. **About You** * Prior experience in non-motor insurance claims management, preferably within a brokerage, insurer, or similar environment; * Technical knowledge of insurance and claims handling; * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and critical thinking; * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a client-oriented approach; * Autonomy, organizational ability, and rigor, ensuring quality and timely delivery; * Team spirit, proactivity, and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement; * Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) and oral/written communication skills in English (preferred). **About Us** Founded in Portugal 40 years ago, our determination has consistently driven us further.
