For 20 years, I owned a waterbed containing 500 liters of water—i.e., it supported over 500 kg. A slatted base (or two halves) must be placed atop these X-shaped frames, to support the mattress. The side wooden panels are in good condition, and the X-shaped frames are easy to assemble and disassemble, as they feature a snap-fit design.
