Summary: We are seeking a Database Administrator with 5+ years of experience supporting mission-critical environments on AWS technologies, who will influence technology choices and support database layers across various services. We are committed to technological leadership, based on the quality of our service and technological solutions, supported by continuous training and certification. ##### **We’re looking for a Database Administrator with 5\+ years of experience on supporting mission critical environments on AWS technologies:** * AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL and MySQL * Redshift **Key requirements:** * Installation and configuration * Performance \& tuning * Query optimization * Workload management * Upper intermediate level (B2\) of written and spoken English is a must. * The successful candidate must be available to work on shifts (the team covers 10h shift, 5 days a week) and being oncall (approx. one week per month). * As part of the Team, the new resource will be responsible to support at 360° database layer of several services on different technologies, participate into international projects and have a chance to influence current and future technology choices. **Will be considered a plus the knowledge of the following AWS services:** * S3 * IAM * Lambda * CloudWatch **The ideal candidate has:** * A master’s degree in information technology / Maths / Physics / Statistics / Engineering or has an equivalent working experience. * Strong persuading and influencing skills. * Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical levels. * Excellent problem\-solving skills * Able to work independently with the minimum of supervision. * The ability to liaise with different levels of staff within the organization. * Good team player. * Must be motivated to progress in the role. * Self\-starter with the ability to plan and manage work according to deadlines * Pragmatic approach. * Willingness to share experience / knowledge. ##### **Employee Benefits:** * Health insurance * Flexibility in organizational routine * Training and certifications * Employee Support Program (in 5 areas, including psychology) * Birthday and seniority gifts * Monthly Happy Hour * Benefits portal with attractive offers
