What you will do?* Support the Project Manager and Construction Management Services Team in coordinating, managing, and delivering assigned construction projects through all phases—from pre\-construction planning to on\-site execution and project close\-out—ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, technical, and regulatory standards. * Work closely with the Project Manager and internal teams during the pre\-construction phase to review design and project documentation, assist in scope development, prepare and track Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and support contractor evaluation and selection. * Assist the project team in the preparation, execution, and administration of contracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained. * Prepare, update, and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports in coordination with the Project Manager, monitoring key milestones, deliverables, and risks throughout the project lifecycle. * Support the Project Manager in stakeholder coordination and communication, helping ensure alignment between owners, consultants, contractors, and internal team members. * Plan, attend, and document site and coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders; prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and track follow\-up action items in coordination with the Project Manager. * Track and manage project correspondence, including Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders, ensuring timely responses, proper routing, and complete documentation. * Review shop drawings, product data, and material samples in collaboration with the Project Manager and consultants to verify compliance with project requirements and approval workflows. * Monitor site progress, safety, coordination, and quality of work, escalating issues to the Project Manager as needed to ensure compliance with contract scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. * Coordinate and document site inspections, testing, and approvals in collaboration with contractors, consultants, and internal team members. * Support project cost management by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data related to progress valuations, payment applications, forecasts, and change order tracking. * Maintain complete and accurate project records and prepare regular project updates and reports for review by the Project Manager, including status on schedule, cost, quality, and risk. * Promote adherence to Health \& Safety standards on\-site, promptly documenting and reporting incidents or concerns to the Project Manager and relevant parties. * Assist with project close\-out activities, including preparation of handover documentation, as\-built drawings, warranties, and completion of punch list items in coordination with the Project Manager and team. * Perform other duties as required to support the Project Manager and ensure successful project delivery. As a Farm Supervisor, your role will to be responsible for overseeing daily Farm operations, managing staff, and ensuring the health of crops and animals. Your primary responsibilities involve planning and executing planting, harvesting, and maintenance schedules; maintaining equipment and facilities; and keeping records for productivity, safety, decoration standards and compliance. HyLab’s final goal is to create a worldwide reference Research, Development and Innovation(R\&D\+I) cluster with a strategic agenda focused on strengthening hydrogen competitiveness and creation of new products and services. Moreover, the HyLab will foster innovation, addressing the relevant supply chain components to enable a hydrogen\-driven economy and to promote skilled and value\-added job creation. It targets a gap between the academia and industrial ecosystems regarding the implementation of green hydrogen to boost the energy transition and to tackle its challenges, through the entire hydrogen value chain. The HyLab involves valuable national and international R\&D institutes, academia, industry companies, small and medium\-sized enterprises (SMEs), start\-ups, and hydrogen\-related technology manufacturing industries. We are looking for a Lead Researcher to coordinate the Separation and Conversion Processes R\&D and Innovation Line. This line focuses on developing technologies for the purification and separation of hydrogen and other gaseous streams within its value chain, and the conversion processes of hydrogen into other energy carriers and sustainable fuels. The Lead researcher will report to the Executive Director. **You will be challenged with:** * Coordinate the Research and Innovation Line and the respective team within the scientific\-technological area; * Monitoring and guidance of the team members (research fellows, students, and trainees), guaranteeing the quality of the technical\-scientific work produced, and compliance with deadlines and budget; * Ensure the dissemination and transfer of knowledge to other members of the organization, with particular attention to the economic exploitation of R\&I results; * Boost the production of new technology developments and technical\-scientific knowledge aimed to be exploited and disseminated (patents, articles, books, conferences); * Collaborate with HyLab’s Management and Scientific Coordination, in the report of the activities, refinement of the Research and Innovation Agenda, and proposing new strategic development initiatives * Design Research, Development, and Innovation programs and translate them into projects, proposals and funding applications (with the support of the business development area) * Act with a high level of autonomy and decision\-making alongside partners and clients, capturing development opportunities and strategic partners * Perform research, development, and innovation activities, as well as all other scientific and technical activities within the HyLab mission; * Collaborate with adjacent Lines of Research and Innovation within HyLab. **Who are we looking for:** * PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. * At least five years of research experience, and a minimum of three years as a Research Project Manager. * Proven ability to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary R\&D teams. * Broad and solid understanding of chemical processes, especially in gas purification, separation, and conversion. * Hands\-on experience in laboratory activities, particularly with adsorption and/or reaction process apparatuses, ideally at system\-level scale. * Proficiency in chemical process modelling software such as gPROMS or Aspen Plus. * Experience in collaboration with industry partners will be considered an asset. * English proficiency at C1 level or higher (spoken and written). **Why join us:** * You will be challenged with unusual problems and will have the opportunity to uncover solutions with a high environmental impact. * You will be working in an innovative environment, alongside some of the most knowledgeable researchers in Europe. * You will have a career as a Researcher in one of the most promising technologies in the energy industry. * You will have the opportunity to definitively move to Sines, Portugal, or to work there at least for 3 days per week on the brand new HyLab headquarters * Your talent will be rewarded with a competitive salary package.
