As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.** **Responsibilities:** * Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipment according to assigned service tasks and maintenance schedules. * Conduct comprehensive equipment testing and failure analysis to improve and stabilize performance. * Prepare and submit detailed service reports accurately and on time for documentation and analysis. * Maintain service tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with EHS standards and company policies. * Maintain service facilities and vehicles according to 5S standards, recommending repairs and maintenance as needed. * Participate in periodic service and safety training to stay updated on products and legal EHS requirements. * Follow EHS procedures and regulations during all field activities. * Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and clearly and understandably explaining technical issues. * Availability for travel to customer sites within the local area as required. **Qualifications** **Requirements:** * Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar field service role. * Proven experience in testing, maintenance, and repair of equipment. * Solid knowledge of EHS standards and procedures, including ISO 14001 and 45001. * Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks. * Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems and preparing service reports. * Valid driver’s license and availability for local travel. * Physical capability to lift and carry equipment, climb stairs, and work under varying environmental conditions. * Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required. * Goal-oriented mindset, committed to meeting service targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. **Additional Information** ***Konecranes moves what matters****. Our activity is based on technical rigour, innovation and the delivery of excellence engineering solutions. **Position:** We are seeking a Paint Inspector to supervise surface preparation and application of anticorrosive coatings on pipelines and metallic structures in an industrial environment. This professional will ensure compliance with project specifications, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) and applicable international standards, guaranteeing rigorous inspection records and technical reporting. **Key Responsibilities:** · Inspect surface preparation (cleaning, degreasing, abrasive blasting and/or mechanical preparation), verifying preparation grade (e.g., Sa 2.5/St 3), surface profile roughness and contamination (dust/salts); · Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, relative humidity and dew point) and validate the paint/coating application window; · Verify application of paint systems (primers, intermediates and topcoats), including wet/dry film thickness (WFT/DFT), curing, adhesion and visual appearance; · Perform/supervise inspection tests where applicable (e.g., holiday detection test, adhesion testing, roughness measurement, chloride testing); · Confirm calibration and condition of measuring instruments and ensure material traceability (batch numbers, certificates, technical data sheets); · Record and report inspection results, issue reports and support non-conformance management (NCR), corrective actions and punch list; · Compile and validate the quality dossier/as-built documentation (records, certificates, reports, signed ITP) in coordination with QA/QC and client; · Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during inspections and on-site interactions. **Required Profile:** · Valid certification in paint/anticorrosive protection inspection: FROSIO and/or NACE/AMPP CIP (mandatory); · Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in industrial paint inspection (preferably on pipelines, metallic structures and Oil & Gas/energy/petrochemical environments); · Knowledge of applicable standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO 12944, ISO 8501/8502/8503, SSPC; NORSOK M-501 — valued); · Ability to interpret technical specifications, procedures, data sheets and ITP; · Rigour, autonomy, quality orientation and ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams; · Fluent Portuguese; technical English (valued); · Mandatory availability for on-site work in Sines. **We Value:** · Familiarity with special systems (e.g., intumescent, CUI, high-temperature) and/or complementary inspections (NDT/welding); · Immediate availability and valid driving licence. **We Offer:** · Participation in high-profile, technically demanding industrial projects; · Collaborative environment and opportunities for professional development; · Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities; · Potential for continued involvement in Technoedif projects.
