Passion for hospitality: ensure every moment experienced at Na Praia is a genuine connection and welcoming experience, making us unique. **THE ROLE WE HAVE OPEN** At the heart of hotel operations, the Assistant Security Manager will play an essential role in protecting guests, employees, facilities, and assets, ensuring high standards of security, prevention, and emergency response. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Support the Security Manager in daily supervision of departmental operations, ensuring protection of guests, employees, facilities, and hotel property; * Lead, train, and supervise the security team, promoting high performance levels and compliance with internal procedures; * Support administrative management of the department, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and payroll support; * Ensure compliance with confidentiality policies regarding guests, employees, and hotel information; * Serve as the point of contact with local authorities, government agencies, and other internal departments; * Manage and follow up on workplace accidents, ensuring continuous communication with People & Culture and insurance providers; * Conduct preventive patrols, identifying and correcting security, fire, and occupational health risks; * Monitor surveillance systems, support investigations, and prepare incident reports; * Respond professionally and promptly to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security events; * Support security prevention, awareness, and training programs; * Collaborate with other departments during events and high-risk operations; * Ensure operational security services, including key control, lock assistance, safe management, and door-opening procedures. **IMPORTANCE OF THE ROLE** This role will have a direct impact on the safety, trust, and experience of our guests and employees. In a highly demanding operational environment, the Assistant Security Manager will be a key element in creating a safe, organized, and hospitality-aligned environment. **IDEAL PROFILE** * More than 5 years of experience in security management roles within hotels or resorts, preferably in high-guest-flow operations; * Proven experience in leading, training, and coordinating security teams; * Solid knowledge of hospitality security operations, crisis management, and emergency response coordination; * Experience with access control systems, video surveillance, VIP protection, and privacy management; * Ability to implement SOPs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure operational compliance and reporting; * Experience in pre-opening environments and managing external vendors and service providers; * Strong analytical ability, organizational skills, and proactive thinking; * High resilience under pressure, with swift and effective decision-making; * Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills with multidisciplinary teams; * Discreet profile with a strong sense of confidentiality and emotional intelligence; * Proactivity, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory); * Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg.
