If you're looking for more than just a job \- if you're looking for a place where you can truly make a difference \- you might be the next person to join WIRE IT. **Role:** AI\-First AWS Cloud Engineer **Location:** Remote Portugal **Requirements:** * \+5 years of experience in similar DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles. * Strong hands\-on experience with AWS, particularly EKS/ECS, VPC, RDS, IAM, SCPs, and SSO. * Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). * Solid Kubernetes and Linux experience. * Strong hands\-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation. * Proven experience using AI tools as part of day\-to\-day engineering work, particularly for infrastructure automation, pipeline review, troubleshooting, and technical problem\-solving. * Hands\-on experience with Claude and Claude Code is required. * Experience with Kiro is highly valued. * Ability to design, execute, and critically evaluate agentic AI workflows in real engineering environments. * Ability to explain AI agent decisions, assess their output, and identify when human intervention or overrides are required. * Comfortable working directly with clients and communicating effectively in English. **We offer:** * No\-term full\-time contract; * Health Insurance; * 22 days of paid vacation; * 4 extra days annually (Carnival, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Birthday); * Meal Allowance on card (Coverflex); * Referral Bonus; * Special discounts and flex options; * Training annual budget; * A great team\-oriented culture; * Chance to become a part of a dynamically growing international company; * Challenging projects giving the unique opportunity to grow and learn.
