Gasoxmed is a part of Air Liquide Company with 20 years of experience in Home Respiratory Care in Portugal. Provides services in Oxygenotherapy, Ventilotherapy, and Aerosoltherapy.
**How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?**
You can grow and develop with us by providing home-based care to patients with respiratory conditions.
Provide home-based care to ventilotherapy and/or other therapy patients through the following planned or urgent interventions:
* Initiation of treatment
* Equipment exchange and functionality checks, including associated accessories and consumables
* Inspection and minor maintenance of equipment and accessories (operations not requiring equipment disassembly)
* Patient follow-up, including training on equipment, accessories, and consumables usage, as well as communication of safety rules
* Extraction of patient therapy adherence reports
* Treatment termination and retrieval of equipment and accessories
* Delivery of equipment and consumables to hospitals
Educate patients to ensure all procedures are correctly implemented on-site, particularly ensuring equipment is installed and maintained in a safe location and that patients understand and comply with safety rules
Submit daily all service-related information via the HOMES system; if not possible, do so manually:
* Ensure data reliability for accurate system entry
* Submit daily all documents defined in procedures
* Manage your daily operational stock
Prescription Collection:
* Daily monitoring of prescription information listed on intervention forms, and remind all patients to submit prescriptions
* Ensure collection of prescription codes required for treatment billing
* Delivery of RSF at treatment initiation, where applicable
* Ensure correct recording of interventions for prescription collection in Chorus
CARE CENTER:
* In outpatient settings: Initiate ventilotherapy (CPAP, APAP or others) per medical prescription, and provide clarification regarding therapy, its benefits, and the importance of treatment
* Patient support: Support patients already undergoing ventilotherapy, reinforcing education and monitoring therapeutic adherence/efficacy
* Assessment and maintenance: Replace interfaces, accessories, and equipment as indicated by assessment
* Hospitalized patients: Initiate ventilation therapy for hospitalized patients per medical prescription and indication
**Are you a Match?**
* Bachelor’s degree in Cardiopneumology, Clinical Physiology, Physiotherapy and/or Nursing
* Clinical knowledge, especially in respiratory therapies and neuromuscular patients
* Analytical ability
* Patient orientation
* Driver’s license (mandatory)
