If you're **based in Lisbon**, this might be the opportunity for you! **Senior Java Developer** **Responsibilities** * Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring framework. * Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high\-quality solutions. * Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions. * Ensure application performance, security, and reliability. * Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps best practices. * Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of production issues. * Promote knowledge sharing and mentor junior team members when required. * Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. **Skills** * Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development. * Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and REST API development. * Experience with microservices architecture. * Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle. * Experience with Git and code review practices. * Knowledge of cloud\-native architectures. * Knowledge of Docker and AWS cloud environments. * Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing practices. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Fluent in English – written and spoken.
