Job Description Chicken House in Pontinha is seeking a collaborator to work at a pizzeria / kebab shop / café, with immediate start. A versatile role in a family-oriented environment, focused on excellent customer service and product quality. Main Responsibilities • Organize and prepare food items (mise en place, basic stock control). • Cook, assemble pizzas, kebabs, sandwiches, and other simple cafeteria products. • Serve customers at the counter and by phone, with emphasis on sales and friendliness. • Operate the cash register, accept cash/MB payments, and issue invoices. • Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the premises (kitchen, counter, and dining area). • Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP, handwashing, glove usage, etc.). • Assist in promoting sales (suggesting extras, meal deals, beverages, desserts). Requirements • Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory (at a level sufficient for communication with customers and team members). • Basic English is an asset but not a requirement for exclusion. • Prior experience in the food service industry (pizzeria, kebab shop, snack bar, or café) is preferred but may be substituted by strong willingness to learn. • Basic knowledge of sales and enthusiasm for customer interaction. • Punctuality, responsibility, and professional appearance. • Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
