Autonomy to design, manage, and scale a technical area Almendra Consulting is recruiting a **Compressed Air Specialist Engineer** to join a new strategic role within a company specialized in Energy Transition, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability. More than an auditor or equipment specialist, we seek a technical leader capable of viewing the entire system, developing internal knowledge, reducing supplier dependency, and scaling an excellence service. Your primary objective will be to transform the compressed air service value proposition into an executable and robust technical system—from diagnosis through to results verification. **Responsibilities:** * Design the technical architecture of the service: scope, data, measurement campaign, analysis, risks, decisions, and deliverables. * Ensure development of tools, templates, and operating procedures for central systems, treatment, networks, end uses, and control. * Lead complex pilots and diagnostics, quantifying consumption, losses, pressure, air quality, capacity, reliability, investment, and economic and energy impact. * Define and validate engineering solutions, specifications, and acceptance criteria, with governance covering quality, safety, exceptions, and technical risk. * Transfer knowledge, train the team, and support the Service Owner and Business Developer on technical feasibility, effort, constraints, and commitments. **Requirements:** * Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or equivalent field. * Minimum of **10 years** in design, preparation, commissioning, operation, or optimization of industrial compressed air systems. * Proven experience as a designer and/or site preparer for compressed air plants and networks (equipment selection, sizing, and integration). * In-depth expertise in **ISO 11011** (Energy Efficiency of Compressed Air Systems) and **ISO 8573** (Compressed Air Quality). * Autonomous ability to produce drawings, descriptive reports, specifications, tender documents, and operating procedures. **About the Opportunity** * **Client:** Company specialized in Energy Transition, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and sustainability. * **Location:** Loures. * **Work Model:** Hybrid (2 days/week in office). * **Contract Type:** Indefinite-term contract. * **Meal Allowance:** €10.20/day. * **27 annual vacation days** (including birthday and December 24th). * **Health insurance.** * Autonomy to design, manage, and scale a critical technical area.
