Abdominizer, an abdominal exercise device that gained popularity in the 1980s. It is a molded plastic device designed to support the lumbar region during abdominal exercises. It was invented in 1984 by Canadian chiropractor Dennis Colonello. It was marketed by Fitness Quest Corporation and sold approximately six million units.
