Job Summary: Noesis is looking for a professional to strengthen the Compute and Cloud Native Systems team, focused on supporting on-premises virtualization platforms and public Cloud platforms. Planning of new solutions and product development **Description:** ---------------- Noesis is seeking a candidate to join the Compute and Cloud Native Systems team, with a focus on supporting on\-premises virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware / KVM) and public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). **Main Tasks and Responsibilities:** * Infrastructure Management: Plan, install, manage, troubleshoot, and evolve infrastructures comprising hundreds of hypervisors, with strong understanding of Storage, networking, and backups; * Project delivery including DR, customer migrations, etc.; * Infrastructure and service optimization capability: Competence in improving infrastructure design to increase resilience against incidents; * Implementation of automations for continuous operational improvement: Minimize human error and repetitive manual operations; * Planning of new solutions, infrastructures, and services: Close collaboration with engineering teams to develop new solutions and products on our infrastructure. **Requirements:** * Minimum 1 year of experience with virtualization platforms; * Experience implementing and managing VMware virtualization platforms; * Experience implementing and managing KVM / Oracle OVM platforms; * Scripting/programming languages: JavaScript, shell, PowerCLI; * Basic knowledge of Networking and Security; * Basic knowledge of SAN Storage; * Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; **Additional Requirements:** * Fluent English * On\-site work: Not required initially, but may become necessary. **Preferred Conditions:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar field; * Experience implementing virtualization platforms in environments with \> 1000 VMs; * Certifications in on\-premises virtualization and public Cloud components. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Teamwork capability; * Responsible, communicative, and proactive; * Analytical capability. **Location:** Lisbon, 2 days per week at Parque das Nações.
