Collaboration with Information Security and support for events **Description:** ---------------- We are looking for a **Network Specialist** to join our team and assume a critical role in managing, evolving, and optimizing the communication and data network infrastructures of the Fundação AIP Group. This position will be responsible for ensuring corporate network availability, performance, security, and resilience, while simultaneously supporting daily operations and technology environments for events. We seek a professional with solid technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and experience administering complex network infrastructures. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan, design, and manage the configuration and installation of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi\-Fi access points) and communication systems provided by technology partners; * Manage and maintain technical relationships with telecommunications operators, vendors, and external network equipment management service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs); * Monitor corporate network and event-dedicated network performance, capacity, and availability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or connectivity failures; * Ensure operation and specialized technical support for structured networks, LAN/WAN/WLAN environments, virtual networks (VLANs), and routing and switching protocols; * Define and implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies and bandwidth management to ensure stability of critical services and voice/video data flows; * Collaborate closely with the Information Security team in implementing security controls, VPNs, network access controls, and firewall rules; * Produce and maintain up-to-date technical infrastructure documentation, network topology diagrams, asset inventories, and operational procedures; * Support infrastructure architecture design and execution of technology infrastructure projects involving network and/or data communication infrastructure upgrades; * Provide necessary support during event setup, execution, and teardown, which may require working outside regular business hours (e.g., weekends). **Profile** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security, Business Continuity Management, Information Systems Auditing, or specialized consulting on ISO standards. * Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 and ISO 22301\. * Solid knowledge of risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity. * Proficiency in technical English. **We Value** * Experience in trade fair, congress, event, or high-user-volume infrastructure environments. * Experience with Cisco technologies, notably Cisco WLC, Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, and Spaces. * Knowledge of 802\.1X authentication, RADIUS, and MAB. * Knowledge of hybrid connectivity and cloud infrastructures (Azure and/or AWS). * Certifications such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Fortinet (NSE), Aruba (ACMA/ACMP), or ITIL. **Personal Competencies** * Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities. * Organizational skills, technical rigor, and attention to detail. * Autonomy and proactivity in identifying and mitigating risks. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. * Ability to perform under pressure in critical environments. * Results-oriented, focused on operational stability and continuous improvement. **We Offer** a competitive salary aligned with experience, above-average meal allowance (€13.50 per effective workday), hybrid work model and flexible hours, free parking at Feira Internacional de Lisboa and Lisbon Congress Centre, curative medical consultations under agreement with the Portuguese National Health Service (SNS), health insurance, invitations to fairs and events, and partner discounts.
