Join us and become part of a passionate organization driven by innovation and excellence. **About the Role:** We are looking for a **Senior Database Administrator (DBA)** to join a technology team, assuming a critical role in administering, optimizing, and evolving the database platform, ensuring high levels of performance, stability, and availability of production environments. **Responsibilities:** * Manage daily operations and administration of database platforms; * Monitor database performance and implement **performance tuning** and optimization initiatives; * Analyze, diagnose, and resolve incidents and issues to completion; * Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, availability, and efficiency; * Collaborate with development teams to optimize queries, data models, and application interactions with databases; * Support monitoring, maintenance, and **capacity management** activities; * Contribute to implementing best practices for database administration; * Ensure stability and reliability of production environments; * Participate in the continuous improvement of database management processes and solutions. **Requirements:** * Proven professional experience as a **Database Administrator (DBA)** in production environments; * Solid knowledge of **SQL**; * Practical experience with **Azure SQL Database Hyperscale**; * Knowledge of the **vCore** database model; * Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools, preferably **Redgate SQL Monitor**; * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems; * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; * Fluency in **English** (mandatory). **Nice to Have:** * Experience optimizing high-volume database environments; * Knowledge of **Microsoft Azure** cloud services; * Experience with database automation and monitoring practices.
