InnoWave is looking for a curious, proactive, and motivated **Junior Software Engineer** to join our team in **Lisbon**. You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop scalable applications, cloud\-based services, and AI\-powered solutions that support business and engineering operations. **Junior Software Engineer** Responsibilities * Support the development and maintenance of backend services using C\#/.NET 8\+ * Assist in building cloud\-based applications and integration services on AWS * Contribute to the development of automation and orchestration workflows across APIs, services, and data sources * Support the implementation of AI\-powered features using Claude and other modern AI technologies * Help develop and maintain MCP servers and secure integrations with internal and external tools * Assist in building agentic workflows to automate operational and engineering tasks * Collaborate with senior developers and cross\-functional teams to deliver end\-to\-end software solutions * Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure high\-quality software * Continuously learn and apply software engineering, cloud, and AI best practices **Skills** * Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field * Knowledge of C\# and object\-oriented programming through academic projects, internships, personal projects, or training * Basic understanding of .NET development and REST APIs * Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) is a plus * Interest in AI technologies, automation, and modern software development practices * Basic understanding of Git and software development lifecycle concepts * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills * Good communication and teamwork skills * Organized, proactive, and detail\-oriented * Fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory) InnoWave gives equal opportunity in employment regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, or any other factor.
