Fernandes Sustainer - Pickup

Sustainer pickup carefully removed from the "Fernandes Dragonfly Elite" guitar. Manufactured by Fernandes Guitars, the Fernandes Sustainer is an electromagnetic pickup designed to make guitar strings vibrate, producing an infinite sustain effect or simulating amplifier feedback. The Sustainer is installed on the guitar in place of the neck pickup and features two modes: a "normal" mode, which sustains the fundamental note, and a "harmonic" mode, which causes the string to resonate at its natural fifth harmonic. The pickup behaves similarly to an EBow. This type of pickup is rarely sold separately and is difficult to acquire. I found the same item listed for sale on Reverb for €560.
