Collaborate with continuous improvement, production, and quality teams Scope The Mold Designer is responsible for designing, modeling, and overseeing the manufacturing of molds for metal parts. They use CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks or others, integrating innovative technologies like 3D printing and prototyping. Responsibilities * Develop mold designs for polishing metal parts, ensuring technical precision, structural strength, and manufacturing process efficiency * Assess production requirements supported by technical design solutions * Use software such as SolidWorks or others to create 3D mold drawings * Support mold manufacturing Main Activities * Analyze specifications and part drawings to be molded * Design molds using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, others) * Integrate manufacturing and production operations * Prepare detailed technical and assembly drawings for mold manufacturing * Participate in project validation (technical reviews, project meetings) * Collaborate with continuous improvement, production, and quality teams * Perform mold adjustments, molding tests, and optimization * Use rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing) to validate components or concepts * Propose solutions and conduct tests/prototypes as requested, using available tools * Develop test plans and ensure their implementation during production * Monitor mold manufacturing and propose adjustments when necessary Profile * Technical or higher education degree in technical drawing, mechanical engineering, or industrial production; * Knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems applied to production support devices; * Experience in prototyping techniques for parts and components; * Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an industrial environment; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Creativity applied to project development and technical problem-solving; * Good command of English and/or French (preferred); * Proficiency in MS Office, SolidWorks or other relevant tools; * Strong communication skills and ability to integrate into teams; * Decision-making ability and proactivity;
